How It came to Be
The start of SEWER RATZ happened in a small town in yorktown virgina after a brake up of an unsuccessful band called "rightsideup". This is when the co-founder, Sam Barrett was really upset over his lose of not only the band but the friends he had and after talking to his cousin, Grace Cox they came up with the idea of SEWER RATZ. Eventually Sam met Justin Martak and asked him to be part of the band. Justin played a big role into lifting SEWER RATZ off the ground by being a huge motivator for Sam, which played a key role into getting music done. The official starting point of SEWER RATZ was on the date February, 19th, 2021
About our Music
We have a very grunge and punk sound. In fact the reason we are called SEWER RATZ is because its suppose to sound like rats from a sewer that do weed and eat pizza, start a really crappy band. sometimes we do make alterative sad songs but mostly we play punk rock. We have a mix of acoustic and electrical instruments. We currently dont have any songs or albums ready to go but we will be working really hard to provide.
